Community Services Report - May

Jason Burns gave the Comunity Services Report.
 
There will be a blood drive June 11th.
 
Bryan Beall will be attending the KS AFL-CIO Community Services Conference in Kansas CIty June 9-11.
 
If there is anything you would like the Community Services Committee to look into, please let Bryan Beall know.

 Community Services Report - June

The June 11th blood drive was a success.  28 folks registered and we collected 20 units.  Next blood drive is August 13th (after the June General Membership meeting the date for this blood drive was moved to August 6th).  I'd like to thank Bonny Mohan for running the drive in my absence.
 
I went to the KS AFL-CIO Community Services Conference in KC.  The conference goers had a good time learning about projects from other areas of Kansas.  Keep an eye on the newsletter for more info.
 
Our local WAC still has an ongoing drive for items for the veterans.
 
The Labor Day Parade will be going on again this year and will feature the rally and picnic again this year.
